Position:

The Mackinac County Sheriff's Office has a full time opening and is currently accepting applications for the position of Corrections Deputy. Applicants are expected to pass a drug screening, background investigation and oral interview.

Pay and Benefits:

Minimum starting pay from $23.27

• $29.

05 an hour (2-year top pay) plus OT and shift premium pay. No cost health care for the employee and family, including medical/dental/vision insurance. Yearly uniform allowance, longevity pay and vested retirement after 6 years that includes up to 9% employer contribution and employee retirement health care with county contribution depending on years of service. Sick, vacation and personal days are also included. All uniforms, training and equipment are paid for or provided by the employer.
