The Department of Social Services - Children's Division cares for at-risk children and families by providing family preservation and reunification services, investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, and conducting foster care and adoption case management. Responsibilities - What you'll do Assists HR Generalist within hiring events, onboarding new team members, assists with local job fairs, and is back up for new employee orientations and new employee paperwork. Onboarding includes substantial work and correspondence within HireTrue and with potential and pending new employees. Authorized badge personnel, completes ASAPs, assigns equipment, manages and orders office supplies. Completes DMV searches for both St. Louis City and St. Louis County Assistant to Circuit Manager and is assigned support tasks to aid CM. Providing support needs to multiple leadership within the MOCAN program based on their locations, the Regional Director, and other leadership based and visiting the office. Manages scheduling of conference rooms and state fleet cars, assists with escalated client issues at reception and on site, responds to building concerns. Leadership gathering organizer as well as coordinates office wellness and morale committee and activities. Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications Five or more years of clerical experience in fiscal or budgetary controls, procurement, accounting or bookkeeping, or closely related areas, including two or more years in a supervisory or semi-technical capacity (at or above the level of an Administrative Support Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or Stores/Warehouse Assistant); and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
