Job Description

POSITION DEFINITION
Under the general direction of the Family Court Judge or Commissioner to whom the employee is assigned. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of docket related requirements for cases assigned to the judicial officer. Work closely with Family Court staff as well as staff from outside agencies and attorneys in order to keep the docket flowing as scheduled and keep hearing milestones on track.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably supplemented with some college or professional clerical/secretarial school. Three to five years of clerical/secretarial and court related experience desired. Prefer prior experience in family court practices. Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
