Overview Join our team as a Jury and play a vital role in the judicial process by serving as a neutral and fair participant in legal proceedings. As a Jury member, you will be responsible for carefully reviewing case information, listening attentively during court sessions, and making impartial decisions based on the evidence presented. Responsibilities Attend court sessions regularly and arrive prepared with necessary documentation Listen attentively to case presentations, witness testimonies, and legal arguments Review case files, evidence, and legal documents to understand case details Follow courtroom procedures and maintain decorum throughout proceedings Record notes accurately and assist in summarizing case information as needed Collaborate with fellow jurors to deliberate fairly and reach a consensus Handle confidential information with integrity and adhere strictly to privacy protocols Requirements Strong research skills to understand case materials and legal terminology Paralegal or litigation experience is advantageous but not mandatory Familiarity with legal drafting, court procedures, and legal case management systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation purposes Office experience with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and administrative support Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Attention to detail when handling procedural law, courtroom protocol, and confidential information Effective writing skills for note-taking and summarizing case details Good customer service attitude when interacting with court staff and fellow jurors Typing speed and accuracy for documentation tasks Ability to handle cash or other transactional responsibilities if required in specific court settings This paid position is essential in upholding the integrity of the judicial process.
