DESCRIPTION
The Albany County Alternate Public Defender's Office is seeking several attorneys for assignment in our Criminal Court Office. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to public defense; specifically providing high quality legal representation to indigent clients in Criminal Court matters. We are looking for attorneys with experience handing both misdemeanors and felonies. The starting salary is commensurate with the experience of the applicant. Excellent fringe benefits are provided; including health insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid leave, and membership in the New York State Retirement system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Attorney with a New York State bar admission (or ability to waive into New York State from another jurisdiction). Please upload a resume, transcript and license (if required) with this application.
