Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Eviction Services Clerk to support our eviction processes. The role involves communicating professionally with clients and court personnel, managing eviction cases from start to finish, and maintaining accurate records. The candidate will handle data entry, file documents with courts, schedule hearings, and support daily office operations. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with clients and court staff to ensure smooth case processing. Answer phones and assist with office support tasks. Manage eviction cases from initiation through completion. Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records. File documents electronically and in paper form with courts. Schedule court hearings and monitor deadlines. Review documents for accuracy before filing or distribution. Support daily office functions to improve efficiency. Collaborate with team members to enhance processes. Update case management systems with case progress information.
Qualifications:
Experience in property management or legal offices is preferred. Bilingual skills in Spanish are advantageous. Proficient in data entry with high accuracy. Familiar with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong proofreading skills for error-free documentation. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of standard office procedures. Ability to operate computers efficiently for clerical tasks. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, courts, and colleagues. Experience with case management software is a plus but not required.
