Job Description
- This position is assigned to the Attorney General Division of the department
- Acceptable Experience and Education High School Diploma, or equivalent and two (2) years of office clerical experience, with experience in legal procedures, terminology, the court system, and customer service.
- Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.

Has frequent contact with representatives of courts, general public and other county employeesMinimum Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of:
court system; court proceedings; legal terminology; the principles and practices of effective customer service; office practices and procedures; English usage, grammar, punctuation and spelling; techniques for effective interpersonal communications; methods and computer equipment to include Windows and Microsoft based products. Depending on area assigned : cashiering and bookkeeping practices, policies, and procedures.Skill/Ability to:
be able to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member; work expeditiously and accurately under pressure with high volume of work; operate personal computer using standard office operating software and general office equipment; prepare and maintain records; maintain filing systems; conflict resolution with the public; time management; prioritize work with attention to detail; be flexible and adaptable to change; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; be dependable; deal with the public courteously and effectively; work under stressful conditions, and establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with those contacted during the course of work; Pass a Criminal Background Check; Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.Depending on area assigned:
perform routine calculations to count currency, make change, and prepare daily cash reports; conduct mathematical calculations.
