Description Now Hiring:
Court Liaison •Average hourly rate is $27.63 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)•Make a Real Impact in Child Welfare—One Court Hearing at a Time Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, have a sharp eye for detail, and feel confident navigating the courtroom? Are you passionate about helping ensure children and families achieve timely, positive outcomes within the child welfare system? EMPOWER is looking for a Court Liaison to serve as a vital bridge between the courts, case management teams, and agency leadership. This role is ideal for someone who understands court processes, values accuracy and accountability, and wants their work to directly support children and families. What You'll Do (Your Impact) As a Court Liaison , you'll play a key role in keeping cases on track and ensuring court directives don't get lost in the shuffle.
You will:
Attend child welfare court hearings and capture clear, detailed notes on proceedings and judicial directives Prepare Case Managers for upcoming hearings by ensuring documentation is complete and court-ready Communicate daily with Staff Attorneys, Supervisors, and Permanency teams regarding court orders, deadlines, and compliance needs Identify cases that need urgent attention or are at risk of non-compliance—and escalate appropriately Keep executive leadership informed of significant court rulings, feedback from judges, and emerging legal risks Build and maintain professional relationships with court personnel Collaborate closely with legal teams on complex or high-risk cases Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and cultural responsiveness What We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you have: A high school diploma or equivalent (experience in child & family services strongly preferred) Working knowledge of TMC/PMC court processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex legal information Familiarity with child welfare legal terminology and confidentiality requirements Good judgment, professionalism, and confidence in sensitive situations Availability to attend court hearings during work hours A valid driver's license and ability to travel for court, meetings, or training as needed Why You'll Love Working Here Your work directly supports legal compliance and positive outcomes for children and families You'll be trusted as a key information source for leadership and case teams A mission-driven environment where accuracy, teamwork, and integrity matter Opportunity to collaborate with attorneys, leadership, and frontline professionals Travel & Work Environment Periodic local travel required (court, meetings, training) Office, court, and community-based work environments No client transportation required If you're detail-oriented, organized, and motivated by meaningful work that truly makes a difference, we want to hear from you .
