Full Job Description Position Description Position Overview:
The Probate Department Citation Clerk performs clerical duties that include proof and issuance of citations, subpoenas and writs as requested by customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Issues and prepares citations. Maintains logs pertaining to citations and certified mail. Reviews and maintains reports. Answers phones and assists attorneys and court staff with questions regarding citations. Clears queues in case management system. Publishes citations with the Office of Court Administration. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution. Minimum of one (1) year of clerical experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to type 35 words per minute with 80% accuracy and 85% accuracy on the clerical skills test. Ability to work overtime without prior notification and work flexible hours as required. Organization and time management is a requirement. Effective written/verbal communicator, and attentive listener. Exceptional clerical skills, particularly those related to typing and filing. Ability to work independently and set priorities based on deadlines.

Salary:
