Compliance Clerk Under the supervision of the Compliance Supervisor, the Compliance Clerk performs detailed clerical, accounting, and administrative work in receiving and entering new cases/accounting data into the court's case management software. The employee will have the responsibility of: Responding to inquiries from the public regarding extension of time to pay, payment plans, and Coordinate the scheduling of interviews with defendants Compiling review packets for interviews Compiling and preparing weekly statistical reports for management review Entering collection memos or notes into the court's case management software Monitoring payment activity and enter payment transactions into the court's case management system. Ensuring the accuracy of all reports, data entry functions, transactions, and records Preparing and sending collections notices Assisting the public in person, by mail/email and by telephone including retrieving information and files and providing complex information to defendant's regarding their criminal court case Administering oaths Scanning court documents into the court system As an employee with the city of Killeen some benefits are: Health insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX Dental and Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement through TMRS (Optional 4579(b) Accounts) Paid Vacation and Sick Leave 13 paid holidaysWellness Events & Free Gym Membership Required Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school or equivalent; and One (1) year of customer service experience, including collection of cash; and One (1) year of prior work experience in clerical or administrative work; or Any equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecial Requirements:
Must have a valid Texas driver's license within ninety (90) days of hire Must have a valid driver's license by date-of-hire Ability to speak and read Spanish preferredBenefits
