General Public - G Additional Detail Job Duties The deputy clerk is assigned customer service, operational responsibilities and ensures the court's directives are executed and legal papers are prepared with accuracy and in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures. This position is for 8 -24 hours a week with no benefits. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to filing, preparing detailed court documents in accordance with established guidelines, answering phones, receiving payments, assisting the public at the front counter, scanning and data entry into an automated case management system and any other task as requested by management. Must be organized and able to multitask. Discretion and integrity while working with highly sensitive and confidential matters is critical. Minimum Qualifications The most competitive candidates will possess: High school diploma or equivalent required. Possessing excellent customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills is advantageous. Most competitive applicants will be detail-oriented, able to work well with frequent deadlines and have considerable office experience. This is a team-oriented environment; therefore, successful applicant must be willing to perform their assigned duties and assist in other areas as needed.
