Job Description
Immediate opportunity for energetic, dependable and professional candidate to work in downtown courts building. We are looking for a candidate to work with appeals from J&DR court, prepare cases for appeal to higher courts, and other clerical duties. Civil division. Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent customer service and telephone skills. Prior experience working in a court environment a plus. Duties not limited to, but will include: Process garnishments, judgments, appeals from juvenile court, protective orders, prepare appelas for the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Virginia, in a timley fashion; meeting tight deadlines Indexing, scanning, and updating within the Circuit Case Management System Customer service in person, by phone, email and correspondence Process mail
