Job Description

Overview Business Office Manager We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee daily revenue cycle and business office operations. This position is responsible for managing billing, collections, accounts receivable, cash posting, and staff performance to ensure strong financial results and compliance with payor requirements. Responsibilities Responsibilities Monitor key revenue cycle metrics, including cash collections, A/R, denials, and unbilled accounts. Oversee billing, collections, cash posting, and reimbursement activities. Lead, train, and develop business office staff. Partner with Admissions, Utilization Review, and leadership teams to ensure proper insurance authorization and compliance. Manage third-party collection agencies and resolve reimbursement issues with payors. Analyze reports, identify trends, and implement process improvements. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. 2+ years of healthcare business office or revenue cycle experience required. 1+ year of supervisory experience required. Strong knowledge of billing, collections, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle management. Behavioral health experience preferred.
