Job Description
Tyrer Dental Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Manager & Insurance Billing Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage both the administrative and insurance aspects of a busy dental practice. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients with exceptional customer service Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients Submit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claims Resolve insurance denials and outstanding claims Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records Coordinate treatment plans and assist patients with financial arrangements Oversee accounts receivable and collections Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation Order office supplies and assist with inventory management Coordinate staff schedules and support daily office workflow Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, specialists, and vendors Help create a positive, welcoming environment for both patients and staff Qualifications Previous dental office experience preferred Experience with dental insurance billing and claim processing strongly preferred Knowledge of Dentrix (or similar dental software) preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment Professional, compassionate, and dependable Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity for growth within the practice
