Job Description

OFFICE MANAGER
Job Purpose The Office Manager oversees the daily operations of a busy dental practice, partnering with the dentist and clinical team to deliver an excellent patient experience while meeting the practice's operational and financial goals. Duties and Responsibilities Own the day-to-day operation of the practice so clinical staff can stay focused on patient care. Supervise the office team, including scheduling and patient flow, staffing coverage, and the overall condition and cleanliness of the facility. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements, including patient chart accuracy, OSHA, and HIPAA. Oversee any on-site clinical support functions assigned to the location, including quality of output, turnaround, and equipment upkeep. Hire, onboard, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance conversations and hold the team accountable to clear standards. Build a strong working relationship with the dentist and manage the schedule to meet daily production goals. Support the treatment planning process by reviewing recommended care with patients, answering questions about cost and coverage, explaining payment and financing options, and routing clinical questions to the dentist. Identify and remove barriers that keep patients from completing recommended treatment. Resolve patient concerns and complaints professionally and with genuine care. Look for and act on opportunities to improve practice performance and the patient experience. Other duties as assigned. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities One to three years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent written and verbal communication. Familiarity with dental office operations and terminology is helpful but not required. Comfortable with practice management software and able to learn new systems quickly. Experience supporting patient case acceptance and treatment plan completion preferred. Goal-oriented with an ownership mentality and a track record of exceeding targets.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
