Job Description
Job Summary An Assistant Office Manager keeps things running smoothly within the dental practice. He/ She is the star player who we can trust with almost every part of the business (besides tending to people's teeth, of course!) To become our AOM, we're seeking someone who is both collaborative and personable. You will handle employee schedules, supplies, resources, customer service control, and cash flow. It should come naturally to you to follow up with patients, provide direction, and motivate the team.
• Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of a busy dental practice. Lead the front office team while assisting with front desk responsibilities as needed. Deliver an exceptional patient experience from scheduling through treatment completion. Manage provider and staff schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity. Understand dental insurance, billing, claims, collections, and accounts receivable. Monitor office performance and implement systems to improve workflow, efficiency, and profitability. Recruit, train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive team culture. Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations professionally. Maintain office inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and exceptional customer service standards.
