Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized Office Manager to lead daily operations at our busy optometry office. The office is located inside the Queen Creek Costco and operates as an exam-only independent optometry office. Costco manages optical sales separately, but optical experience and knowledge are necessary. This vital role ensures smooth administrative workflows, maintains efficient communication, and supports our team's overall productivity. The ideal candidate brings a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating a positive, well-managed workplace. Duties Oversee all office management functions, including maintaining patient flow with two providers working daily and workspace organization. Pulling medical and vision plan insurance, explaining benefits to patients, and charging the correct copays. Manage multi-line phone systems, ensuring prompt and professional communication with patients, referring offices, and team members. Coordinate calendar management and schedule appointments for leadership and staff. Maintain medical records, proofread documents, and ensure all correspondence adheres to company standards. Provide exceptional customer support at the front desk by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and managing phone etiquette. Experience Proven office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced optometry office Experience creating schedules, pulling insurance, and verifying benefits for both medical and vision insurance Experience with balancing accounts receivable Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry tools Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to support diverse client communication Demonstrated organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities Join our team to be at the heart of a vibrant workplace where your organizational talents make a real difference! Pay:
$27.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
