Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, positive, and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee comprehensive financial operations and manage daily office functions within our client's busy organization. This pivotal role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall administrative efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in QuickBooks, with a solid understanding of accounting principles. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and operational success of the organization through precise bookkeeping and administrative leadership. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries, using multiple accounting software tools. Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including account reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping, to ensure accuracy of financial data. Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with relevant governmental regulations. Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Assist in budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documentation for management review. Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. Manage office administrative functions such as estimates, vendor relations, and maintaining organized filing systems. Facilitate communication between finance, vendors, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth operations. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in bookkeeping practices and administrative workflows. Requirements Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Office Manager with a minimum of 3 years in similar roles. 4 years of QuickBooks experience. Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, debits & credits, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping. 2 years of payroll experience. Knowledge of governmental accounting procedures and tax regulations is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and external entities. Familiarity with payroll processing systems and financial software integrations.
