  • Location:
    Aromas, CA Livestock sale yard seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant / Payroll & Office Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working in the agricultural and livestock industry. Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain organized records
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
  • Handle employee paperwork and payroll compliance
  • Manage office operations and administrative tasks
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and livestock producers
  • Support sale day operations as needed Qualifications
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or office management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills compliance
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations affecting livestock markets, payroll, employment practices, and agricultural businesses
  • Help ensure the business remains compliant with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and industry regulations
  • Agricultural, ranching, livestock, or auction experience is a plus but not required What We Offer
