Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and processing payroll. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This candidate will help ensure smooth office functions, provide exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized workspace. Duties Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy Prepare journal entries to record payroll expenses Process payroll and related tax payments Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct phone calls; take and relay accurate messages Schedule appointments and manage calendars Assist with data entry, scanning, and filing of confidential documents Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and journal entries Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax preparation processes Ability to analyze financial data accurately and prepare comprehensive financial reports Effective communication skills and customer service Previous office management experience preferred Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's continued growth while working within a professional environment that values accuracy, integrity, and customer support.
