Fontana, CA We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Office Manager / HR & Operations professional to oversee payroll, HR administration, office and facility operations, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an onsite role working in the office daily Monday-Friday. Main Responsibilities Process weekly payroll through Insperity , including reviewing time records and reconciling payroll entries in QuickBooks . Process monthly commissions and support basic accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Oversee daily office and facility operations, including maintenance, vendors, supplies, and workplace safety. Support HR administration, employee relations, benefits, training, and employee engagement. Maintain required licenses, certifications, insurance, and compliance records. Monitor regulatory and California employment requirements and coordinate with Insperity, management, legal counsel, and the Board as needed. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, efficiency, and employee engagement. Serve as a hands-on resource to leadership and employees while helping maintain a positive, collaborative workplace. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or a related field required. 5+ years of experience in office management, HR, accounting, facilities, or administrative operations. Strong knowledge of payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, HR administration, and internal controls. Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with compliance, risk management, workplace safety, insurance, and vendor management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and payroll/business management systems. Experience with Insperity or another PEO preferred. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with a focus on accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
