This pivotal role combines strategic financial management with efficient office administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and office management. A background in real estate is a plus. Duties Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and cash management. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial report writing, variance analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Oversee banking functions including banking relationships, investments, and liquidity management to ensure effective cash flow control. Obtaining from agents required real estate documentation and disclosures before calculating and paying commissions. Coordinate office administration activities such as managing payroll, vendor relations, procurement processes, and maintaining a well-organized office environment that supports operational efficiency. Extensive knowledge of GAAP compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting procedures. Proficiency in Sage 50 or other accounting software and Excel skills for detailed financial analysis and reporting. Strong background in corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, budget preparation, and financial close processing. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of financial and office management. Organize small parties for agents and staff.
