Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Tennis Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our tennis facility's administrative functions. This pivotal role involves managing office activities, coordinating events, supervising staff, and ensuring seamless communication between members, vendors, and team members. Duties Oversee all administrative operations within the tennis office, including scheduling, filing, and managing confidential information with discretion. Coordinate and execute event planning for tournaments, member socials, clinics, and special functions to enhance member engagement. Supervise office staff and front desk personnel, providing training, support, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service. Manage vendor relationships for equipment maintenance, supplies procurement, and facility services to maintain optimal operations. Handle billing, bookkeeping, payroll processing via accounting software such as QuickBooks, and monitor budgets to ensure financial health. Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and office management software; prepare reports on membership activity, event attendance, and financial transactions. Schedule appointments, manage calendars for staff and facility bookings, and coordinate with human resources on staffing needs or training initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a sports or recreation environment; supervisory experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), spreadsheets, and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar financial tools. Demonstrated skills in event planning, vendor management, budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally via phone or email; strong customer service orientation. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail; organizational skills are essential. Experience with human resources functions including staff training & development and handling confidential information responsibly. Technical proficiency in office equipment and software; familiarity with scheduling tools and financial software is highly desirable. Pay:
Up to $70,000.00 per year
