Job Description
Description We are looking for an organized Office Manager to support daily operations and keep the workplace running efficiently. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative coordination, front-desk support, and office resource management. The role will focus on creating a well-structured office environment, managing vendor-related purchasing needs, and assisting with essential accounts payable activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure an efficient, organized, and detail-oriented work environment.
- Coordinate the purchase of workplace materials and communicate with vendors to keep needed items available.
- Monitor inventory levels for office resources and restock supplies before shortages affect operations.
- Support accounts payable tasks by preparing, tracking, and organizing invoice-related documentation.
- Welcome visitors and provide front-desk assistance while directing inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
- Maintain administrative records and help ensure office procedures are followed consistently.
- Partner with internal teams to address facility or operational needs and resolve routine office issues promptly. Requirements
- Prior experience in office administration, office coordination, or office management.
- Working knowledge of purchasing office supplies and maintaining inventory records.
- Experience supporting accounts payable or handling invoice-related administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage receptionist or front-desk responsibilities in a detail-oriented manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with staff, visitors, and vendors.
- Proficiency with standard office software and common administrative tools.
