Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive background in office administration. This role offers an opportunity to manage diverse administrative functions and coordinate team activities. Experience in office management, vendor relations, and team supervision will be highly valued. The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining efficient office procedures, supporting staff development, and fostering a professional work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, manage emails, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments. Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) for contracts, forms, invoices, permits, and compliance documents. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as needed. Maintain digital and physical records for crop and livestock production, inventory, and equipment. Coordinate schedules for vendors and service providers. Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Administer payroll and maintain employee records. Support audits, inspections and financial reporting. Track training certifications, licenses, and safety records. Coordinate employee meetings and trainings. Maintain regulatory compliance records (agricultural, environmental, and labor). Support safety documentation and reporting requirements. Maintain daily administrative support for management and operations teams. Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information. Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed. Knowledge on CenterPoint accounting software preferred.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Accounting degree preferred. Previous office or administrative experience. Strong computer skills. Accurate data entry and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication. Data entry and record management. Multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work efficiently with other employees. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Experience in agriculture, farming, or agribusiness. Familiarity with accounting, payroll, and inventory systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to adapt to seasonal workloads and changing priorities.
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
