+ Eyewear is a modern, independently owned optometry practice in Westport, Connecticut. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager / Practice Manager who wants to take ownership of day-to-day operations and become an important part of the continued growth of our practice. This isn't a position where you'll simply maintain someone else's systems. We want a manager who will work closely with the practice owner, identify opportunities for improvement, develop the team, and help us continually create a better experience for both our patients and our staff. What You'll Lead You will oversee the day-to-day business and administrative operations of the practice, including: Leading, supporting, and developing our team Recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management Staff scheduling and appropriate office coverage Creating accountability while fostering a positive, collaborative culture Overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and patient flow Improving systems, workflows, and office procedures Maintaining a consistently high level of patient service Working with our billing team to oversee accounts receivable, collections, and insurance follow-up Coordinating with vendors and outside professional partners Monitoring key practice statistics and operational performance Helping implement practice initiatives, marketing efforts, and growth projects Meeting regularly with the practice owner to discuss goals, staffing, performance, and opportunities for improvement Because we are a small private practice, this is a hands-on leadership role.
