Position Overview Reporting to the VP Of HR the Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of AKAM's Florida corporate office, supporting approximately 50 employees and ensuring a welcoming, professional, and well-organized environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that will be based at the reception area and serve as the first point of contact for guests while also overseeing the overall functionality of the office. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, clients, candidates, vendors, and other visitors, providing a warm and professional experience.
  • Manage the reception area, including greeting and directing visitors, answering general office inquiries, and coordinating visitor access as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Florida office and ensure the workplace is consistently clean, organized, professional, and well maintained.
  • Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, common areas, and other shared spaces to ensure they are meeting-ready and properly stocked.
  • Monitor office and kitchen supplies, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and coordinate ordering and replenishment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office vendors, building management, contractors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair requests for office equipment and facilities and follow through to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling and assist with meeting logistics, including catering and room preparation.
  • Assist with catering and arrangements for executive meetings, new hire lunches, employee events, and other office gatherings.
  • Support new employee onboarding by helping prepare workspaces and ensuring new hires have a positive first-day office experience.
  • Partner with the People team on employee engagement, recognition, and morale initiatives within the Florida office.
  • Help coordinate corporate events and engagement programs throughout the year.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to Executive Leadership and other departments on an as-needed basis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes, organization, and the overall employee and visitor experience.
  • Handle day-to-day office needs and unexpected issues with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
