Job Description

Animal Orthopaedic Clinic of Florida (AOCF) is a newly established, state-of-the-art specialty veterinary hospital dedicated exclusively to advanced orthopaedic care. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our growing team and help guide the continued development of the practice. As a recently established clinic, our team, caseload, and operations continue to evolve rapidly. Our systems and workflows are constantly adapting to the changing demands of the practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys this kind of environment—organized and dependable, but also adaptable, practical, and motivated to help refine how we operate as we grow. This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with the practice owner, veterinarians, technicians, assistants and client service team. The Role The Practice Manager will help ensure that the clinic runs smoothly day to day while supporting the continued growth and development of AOCF.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily clinic operations and workflow Supporting, coordinating, and developing veterinary and administrative staff Staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and training Helping develop and refine policies, procedures, and workflows Managing inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships Coordinating routine HR, payroll, and administrative functions Supporting excellent communication and service for clients and referring veterinarians Identifying operational issues and implementing practical solutions Working closely with practice ownership on staffing, operations, and future growth Helping foster a professional, collaborative, and positive workplace culture What We're Looking For Veterinary practice management or substantial veterinary leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of veterinary clinic operations and workflow Excellent organizational and communication skills Dependable with strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems independently Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving practice Able to bring structure and consistency while remaining open to change Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Excellent collaborator with a positive attitude Comfortable with veterinary practice management software and technology About

is a modern veterinary specialty hospital in Gainesville, Florida, focused exclusively on orthopaedics. Our hospital was designed to provide advanced specialty care in a focused and highly collaborative environment, with capabilities including CT, arthroscopy, joint replacement, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced fracture and joint surgery.
