This position is ideal for someone interested in developing their leadership skills and learning all aspects of medical office management. The Practice Manager will work closely with the Office Manager. The role will also support the practice's marketing efforts and assist with supervising and analyzing billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and assist with the Office Manager's daily responsibilities Help supervise front-office and billing staff Monitor employee performance and assist with staff training Provide support with scheduling, workflow, and general office operations Review billing reports, outstanding claims, denials, and accounts receivable Identify billing trends and opportunities to improve collections Help ensure claims and billing processes are completed accurately and promptly Assist with marketing initiatives, social media, and community outreach Help develop strategies to increase patient awareness and practice growth Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies Assist with resolving patient, employee, and operational concerns Perform additional administrative and management duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical office administration, billing, or management preferred Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, and denial management is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to review reports and analyze billing performance Comfortable learning new responsibilities and taking initiative Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information Experience with marketing or social media is preferred but not required Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and medical practice management systems
