Construction Office Administrator Amcon Development Group LLC Longwood, FL Job Details Full-time From $25 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Attention to detail Construction industry experience Organizational skills Construction administrative experience Time management Office experience Full Job Description About the Company We are a growing general construction company looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This position will play an important role in supporting our project management, accounting, and estimating teams while helping keep our construction projects organized and moving forward. The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has experience in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process customer and subcontractor invoices Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed Prepare, track, and distribute construction submittals Prepare, track, and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) Maintain accurate project files, documentation, and correspondence Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with administrative needs Support the estimating team with bid invitations, subcontractor communications, bid documentation, and other estimating tasks Help organize plans, specifications, proposals, and other project documents Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, customers, and project team members Assist with obtaining and organizing subcontractor and vendor pricing Maintain project schedules, logs, and tracking spreadsheets Help ensure required paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and on time Perform general office and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, accounting, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience working with Bluebeam, Trimble, & Procore is desired Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal team members Ability to read and understand basic construction documents is a plus Construction industry experience is required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and willing to learn .
