Front Office Manager Candlewood Suites Hotel - 3.2 Tallahassee, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Interpersonal skills Shift management Front desk Computer skills Office management OPERA Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description Job overview Coordinates front office activities of hotel and resolves problems arising from guests' complaints, reservation and room assignment activities, and unusual requests and inquiries by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. What you will be doing Assigns duties and shifts to workers and observes performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures. Confers and cooperates with other department heads to ensure coordination of activities. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services. Receives and processes advance registration payments. Maintain A/R accounts, send invoices and follow-up on payment due. May be required at any time to assume the job duties of the Front Desk Agents or any other position which is directly supervised by this position. Ability to work weekends, 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, and holidays depending on what is required Ability to work longer shifts based on business and staffing levels 1-3 years of progressive hotel rooms management and/or relevant leadership/industry experience Must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn and utilize new systems (knowledge of Opera and Holidex a plus) Refined verbal and written communication skills Possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds Must possess the following strengths: motivational leader, effective communicator, team player, service oriented, and professional presentation Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and administrative skills Benefits Competitive Wage Employee discount This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
