Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Supervisor, where you'll lead the front desk operations with energy and enthusiasm! In this pivotal role, you will oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, manage reservations using advanced property management systems (PMS) like OPERA, and ensure every guest receives exceptional service from arrival to departure. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming atmosphere, fostering guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Supervise front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest services, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out experiences. Manage reservations efficiently through hotel management systems, including OPERA and other property management software. Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Address guest inquiries, resolve service issues promptly, and provide personalized solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Oversee night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting at the end of each shift. Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and uphold property standards. Utilize multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests, enhancing their overall experience. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar property management software. Exceptional customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset to handle guest concerns efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve an international clientele effectively. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and night audit processes. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and client interaction capabilities. Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems and resort environments is preferred.
