Job Description

Overview Visiting Angels Athens is seeking an organized, dependable Office Manager to support payroll, caregiver recruiting and onboarding, and day-to-day human resources administration. This role works closely with the Owner and Executive Director to keep employee records, hiring workflows, and office processes accurate and moving forward. Key Responsibilities Payroll and Visit Verification
  • Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Review and verify caregiver visits, time records, and related documentation before payroll is finalized.
  • Research discrepancies and coordinate corrections with caregivers and management. Recruiting and Onboarding
  • Review caregiver applications and identify qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews.
  • Move selected candidates through the hiring process, including required documentation and pre-employment steps.
  • Set up new hires in Paylocity and help ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting and employee records. Human Resources Support
  • Assist the Owner and Executive Director with routine employee relations and HR matters.
  • Help employees with standard questions about policies, payroll, and onboarding.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive HR issues to the Owner and Executive Director.
  • Handle employee information with professionalism and confidentiality. Qualifications
  • Experience in office management, payroll, human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
  • Comfortable learning and using payroll, scheduling, and applicant-tracking systems.
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Compensation
  • Starting salary: $40,000 per year.
  • Additional performance-based bonuses may be available.
