Job Description

Overview Persnickety Interiors is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy design environment. This role involves Interior Design experience with design software. This postion is vital in ensuring smooth administrative workflows, maintaining efficient communication channels, and supporting a productive workplace. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating an inviting and well-managed office space. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead administrative functions and contribute to the overall success of our team. Duties Manage day-to-day office operations ( Monday -Friday 9-5), including supply procurement, and facility management to ensure a seamless work environment Experience with design software required Prepare design vision boards and floor plans for client presentations Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing excellent customer service and professional front desk support Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and document proofreading using productivity software such as Microsoft Office and spreadsheets Support administrative tasks including typing correspondence, managing emails, and preparing reports with attention to detail and professionalismSkills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with strong computer literacy and technical proficiency Experience with office management procedures, clerical tasks, data entry, and document proofreading Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong phone etiquette skills with experience in client communication Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software for financial record-keeping is preferred Demonstrated ability to handle customer support roles at the front desk with professionalism and warmth Exceptional time management skills to coordinate schedules efficiently and meet deadlines consistently Daily tasks include; pricing products, creating proposals, ordering and tracking orders, organizing subcontractors and facilitating installations.
