About the role The Front Office Manager leads the day-to-day Front Desk operation at Hotel Bardo Savannah , supporting the Director of Front Office in delivering a polished, personalized, and highly engaging guest experience. This role is ideal for an emerging Rooms leader who has built a strong foundation in luxury or upper-upscale hospitality and is ready for broader leadership responsibility. This is a hands-on leadership role in a sophisticated environment where leaders are visible, accessible, and deeply connected to both guests and the team. This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah. What you'll do Lead the daily Front Desk operation and ensure a smooth, welcoming arrival and departure experience Maintain a highly visible presence in the lobby and engage naturally with guests throughout the day Coach, support, and develop Front Desk team members through real-time feedback, training, and performance conversations Create personalized guest experiences through thoughtful recognition, amenities, service recovery, and anticipation of guest needs Ensure Front Desk service consistently reflects Hotel Bardo's luxury standards and culture Partner closely with the Guest Experience Manager, Night Manager, Housekeeping, Reservations, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to support a seamless guest experience Serve as Manager on Duty alongside other Front Office leaders and respond to guest and operational needs with sound judgment Support scheduling, staffing, labor management, and daily Front Desk planning Monitor guest feedback and help identify opportunities to strengthen service, processes, and team performance Assist the Director of Front Office with recruiting, onboarding, training, departmental projects, and other leadership responsibilities Support departmental goals and priorities while continuing to develop toward broader Rooms leadership opportunities Qualifications 2+ years of progressive Front Office or Rooms experience within a luxury, upper-upscale, boutique, or full-service hotel environment Previous Front Desk supervisory or management experience Formal hospitality leadership or management training experience strongly valued Hospitality management degree or related education preferred Strong passion for luxury service, guest personalization, and creating memorable experiences Demonstrated ability to connect naturally with guests and coach teams with confidence and warmth Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with hotel property management systems; Opera experience preferred Career-minded with a desire to continue growing within Front Office and Rooms leadership Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Bardo?
