Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding leadership opportunity and already have experience in a hotel environment? We're hiring a supervisor to lead our already fantastic front desk team. You'll be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations and lobby area, helping train and coach front office team members, enforcing hotel policies, and ensuring every guest is warmly greeted and helped by the team. Candidates should have experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrate a commitment to customer service, and come to work with an upbeat, glass-half-full attitude. You need to have great soft skills, a professional appearance, and be well-organized to be a successful in this role.
Compensation:
$16.50 - $18 hourly Duties and responsibilities: Keep front desk clean, tidy and stocked with all the necessary supplies Greet, welcome, and help guests Answer all the customers' questions and resolve complaints Coordinate with housekeeping, management, breakfast, and maintenance Monitor and update records and files Schedule front office staff shifts and manage other tasks Schedule team members for 24/7/365 front desk coverage Cover gaps in team member availability Create periodic reports and share with management team Help hire, train, and supervise front desk staff and ensure they provide excellent guest services Identify "pain points" for guests and implement procedures to alleviate the issue Serve as a shining example of how to anticipate and proactively act on likely guest needs Requirements and qualifications At least one year of hotel experience as a lead front desk agent, supervisor, or similar role Ability to complete PEP for Hilton property management system training within 3 days of hire Ability to complete third-party online training (Savannah Alcohol Bar Card and First Aid Safety) within 7 days of hire Working knowledge of MS Office like Outlook, Excel, and Word Sense of ownership and pride in your performance Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Team player Friendly, clear communication skills Availability and ability to properly manage your own schedule to ensure great guest service at the hotel. This will periodically require morning shifts, evening shifts, overnights, holidays, and weekends.
