Role Description The Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubuque, IA, responsible for overseeing daily front-office operations in a busy dental practice. This role coordinates patient scheduling, check-in and check-out processes, and manages phone and email communications to ensure a smooth patient experience. The Office Manager maintains records, organizes administrative workflows, supervises office support staff, and monitors the use and maintenance of office equipment and supplies. Additional responsibilities include assisting with billing and insurance coordination, supporting compliance with office policies and procedures, and collaborating with clinical staff to optimize overall practice efficiency. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external partners. Experience in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration, including scheduling, record management, and workflow coordination. Practical knowledge of Office Equipment, such as computers, printers, phone systems, and practice management software. Prior experience in a healthcare, dental, or medical office setting is preferred. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated reliability, discretion with confidential information, and a collaborative working style. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, healthcare administration, or related fields is a plus.
