Front Office Manager | The Riverside Hotel The Riverside Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Front Office Manager to oversee daily Front office operations ensuring exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out. This role includes leading and developing Front Desk, Reservations, Night Audit, Guest Services teams; managing scheduling, training, performance, inventory, revenue, and departmental budgets; resolving guest concerns with exceptional service; maintaining the hotel's Property Management System; implementing service programs and incentive programs; coordinating with other departments; upholding company policies and procedures; preparing inventory and revenue forecasts; and participating in the Manager on Duty program.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and develop Front Office staff, including Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors and Reservationists. Drive a culture of exceptional guest service through hands-on leadership and consistent training initiatives. Respond promptly and effectively to guest concerns, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction. Manage daily scheduling and staffing for all Front Office roles. Monitor and uphold all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and guest satisfaction. Prepare accurate revenue and inventory forecasts; assist in departmental budgeting. Coordinate effectively with other department leaders to ensure seamless operations. Maintain and manage the Property Management System, including group blocks and inventory control. Administer and track employee incentive programs. Participate in the hotel's Manager on Duty (MOD) program.Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with a team of 5 or more direct reports. Prior hotel management experience is required . College degree preferred but not required. Proven ability to lead by example and inspire high performance in others. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Tech-savvy with strong computer skills and experience using PMS systems. (Opera/Microsoft:
Experience preferred) Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Additional Requirements:
Professional demeanor and a high level of integrity. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions. Effective conflict resolution and guest recovery skills. Physically able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
