We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to support the financial operations of both companies while serving as the welcoming first point of contact for customers and vendors. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys accounting, thrives in a fast-paced office, and takes pride in keeping both the books and the office running smoothly. Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for two companies using QuickBooks Online Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Prepare and enter journal entries Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assist with monthly and year-end close Prepare reports for leadership Coordinate with our CPA as needed Monitor outstanding receivables and vendor payments Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files Office Administration Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally Greet customers, vendors, and visitors Manage incoming and outgoing mail Assist with filing, scanning, and document management Order office supplies and maintain office organization Support leadership with administrative projects Assist with general office communication and coordination Qualifications Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong QuickBooks Online experience required Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to maintain confidentiality Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team Professional, positive attitude with a willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications Experience in the construction or service industry Understanding of job costing Experience working with multiple companies or entities Familiarity with payroll support and financial reporting What We're Looking For The right person is: Honest and trustworthy Highly organized Dependable and self-motivated A problem solver who takes initiative Comfortable balancing multiple priorities Friendly and professional with customers and coworkers Someone who enjoys creating order and helping a growing business succeed Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Retirement plan with company match Opportunities for growth within our organization Supportive, family-oriented work environment If you're someone who enjoys both accounting and keeping an office running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
