The Hotel Front Office Manager is the heart of the guest experience, overseeing all aspects of the front desk operation and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every visitor. This leadership role requires a blend of hospitality expertise, business acumen, and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Motivate:
Provide supervision and guidance to the front desk team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Guest Satisfaction Champion:
Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving guest issues promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
Operational Efficiency:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including reservations, check-in/check-out, billing, and key control.
Financial Accountability:
Oversee departmental budget, manage resources, and track expenses.
Communication Hub:
Maintain clear communication with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
Handle unexpected situations and emergencies with professionalism and find solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare reports on key metrics like occupancy rates and guest feedback.
Qualifications:
Hotel industry experience, preferably in a front office management role. Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. Proficient in hotel management software and property management systems (PMS/FOSSE). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Leadership abilities to motivate and develop a team. Budget management and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
