Schaumburg, IL 60193 About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our Ophthalmology and Optometry practice located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The ideal candidate will oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff. Key Responsibilities Manage daily administrative operations of the ophthalmology and optometry office. Supervise and support front office staff, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing. Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and appointment scheduling. Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order. Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally. Oversee billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable processes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies. Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office personnel. Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to office operations. Qualifications Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in an ophthalmology or optometry setting. Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and healthcare regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient with office management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
