What You'll Do As a Supervisor Office, you will report to the Director/ Practice Manager of the respective site within BMG. In collaboration with the Director/Practice Manager, is responsible for the effective coordination of all daily operational support functions of the assigned facility and performs duties necessary to maintain a smooth functioning and efficient physician office. Responds to daily operational issues when the Director/Practice Manager is absent or unavailable.
Supervisor Office Job Responsibilities :
Oversees daily physician practice operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow management to ensure efficient service delivery. Supervises, trains, coaches, and evaluates staff while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities. Assists with budgeting, expense management, inventory control, vendor coordination, and operational planning. Monitors billing, coding, charge capture, collections, deposits, and financial processes to support practice performance. Ensures exceptional patient service by resolving concerns, managing communications, and promoting a positive patient experience. Serves as a key communication resource for staff, providers, and leadership regarding policies, procedures, and operational updates. Supports physician office technology, scheduling systems, EMR processes, and staff training initiatives. Maintains records, reports, compliance requirements, and quality improvement activities to support organizational goals. Collaborates with leadership to drive operational excellence, staff development, and continuous process improvement. What You Bring As a Supervisor Office, this position requires a strong working knowledge of medical office operations, healthcare administration, medical records management, insurance reimbursement processes, and medical coding principles. Candidates must possess an understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and applicable coding practices, along with proficiency in computer applications, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and office systems. The role demands strong administrative and organizational skills to effectively manage daily operations, analyze and resolve problems, and support efficient workflow processes. Excellent leadership abilities are essential to foster collaboration and gain the support of physicians and staff while promoting a positive work environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, provide clear explanations, and maintain effective working relationships. Additionally, the position requires a commitment to continuous professional growth, leadership development, and participation in management and organizational improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of related healthcare experience is required, and three years of management or supervisory experience is also required Proficiency with coding systems such as
ICD-9-CD, CPT-4
