Office Manager Position Summary:
Specialty Pet Grooming is looking for an Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and customer service operations of a dog grooming, daycare, and boarding facility. This position serves as a key point of contact for clients, employees, vendors, and management while ensuring that the facility operates efficiently, professionally, and with a strong focus on the safety and well-being of every dog in our care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced animal-care environment, and able to balance customer service, administrative responsibilities, staff coordination, and operational problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, professional manner. Manage daily front-office operations and ensure the facility is organized and running efficiently. Maintain accurate client, pet, vaccination, appointment, boarding, and daycare records. Manage scheduling for grooming, daycare, boarding, evaluations, and other services. Answer phones, emails, online inquiries, and customer questions in a timely and professional manner. Process payments, invoices, deposits, refunds, and other financial transactions. Maintain accurate cash-handling and daily financial records. Prepare reports and provide operational information to ownership or management. Order office, cleaning, grooming, and facility supplies as needed. Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative, customer service, veterinary, kennel, grooming, daycare, or related experience preferred.
Compensation:
$15.00 - $20.00 / hour depending on experience
