Job Description

Job Description As an AFOM, you will serve as an inspiration to the team on how to provide memorable customer service You will help train, coach, and support Front Office Associates to see that they maximize their potential Take decisive action to ensure smooth hotel operations Uphold departmental standards by ensuring all Consistent Operating Procedures "COPs" are understood and followed Effective and positive communication with staff, management, all other departments Maintaining Guest Services and Front Desk Goals Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards, and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others. Ensures that regular on-going communication is happening with employees to create awareness of business objectives and communicate expectations, recognizes performance, and produces desired results. Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors. Supervises and manages employees. Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence. Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints. Sets a positive example for guest relations. Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement. Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process. Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Runs Front Desk shifts whenever necessary. Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years hotel front desk experience.
  • Minimum of 2 year supervisor experience.
  • Marriott brand experience with Marsha/FSPMS is preferred
  • Open Availability to work as needed based on hotel occupancy and scheduling needs.
