Job Description

Koerner Chiropractic & Physical Therapy is seeking to fill the open position of Office Manager. We are a private practice outpatient clinic with locations in both Hays and Ellis, Kansas. We focus on holistic care to help our patients reduce their pain, improve movement mechanics, and get them back to what matters the most to them. The ideal candidate will oversee clinic operations, manage administrative tasks, interact with patients, and support our healthcare team. Responsibilities will range from scheduling appointments to verifying insurance and handling billing to maintaining office policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
Responsibilities:
    Patient Management:
    Schedule appointments, greet patients, collect intake forms, answer phone calls, and communicate with patients about their appointment times and treatment plans.
      Administrative Tasks:
      Perform data entry, manage patient records with insurance verification, handle billing processes, and maintain electronic health records (EHR).
        Staff Management:
        Train, supervise, and oversee other staff members to ensure proficiency in clinic office procedures and protocols.
          Compliance and Operations:
          Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards, update office procedures, maintain office cleanliness, and uphold patient privacy.
          Skills and Qualifications:
          • Strong organizational and time management skills
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with staff and patients
          • Administrative skills/basic computer knowledge
          • Must be able to multitask
          • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
          • Knowledge of EHR is helpful but not required
          • Knowledge of chiropractic and physical therapy procedures and terminology is helpful but not required
          Job Type/Schedule:
          Full-time/Monday through Friday (close at 12:00 pm on Fridays);
