Job Description

Marketing & Office Manager In The Bag Cleaners - 3.8 Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Employee discount Professional development assistance Qualifications Digital marketing campaign setup Marketing project management Teamwork Zoom Canva Managing projects Video conferences (communication methods) Office management Delegation Full Job Description Are You the Person Who Turns Ideas Into Action? You know that person who hears a new idea and immediately starts thinking about how to make it happen? The one who can take an idea from a conversation or whiteboard and turn it into a real campaign, project or promotion? The one who's creative—but organized enough to actually get things across the finish line? That's who we're looking for. In The Bag Cleaners is hiring a Marketing & Office Manager to join our Leadership Team. Yes, we're a drycleaning and laundry company. But marketing and business development are a huge part of how we grow—and you'll take ownership of making that happen. This isn't a position where you'll sit around waiting for someone to hand you your next task. You'll have ideas to develop, campaigns to launch, projects to manage, people to lead and results to create. What You'll Own Marketing & Business Development You'll own the day-to-day marketing for In The Bag Cleaners and help turn ideas into action.
You'll:
Develop and implement marketing campaigns across social media, email, SMS and other channels. Bring your own marketing and business-development ideas to the table. Take ideas from the owner and Leadership Team and turn them into executable projects. Create and coordinate marketing materials, including working regularly in Canva. Manage multiple marketing projects, deadlines and priorities at once. Manage our outside marketing agency and ensure projects and automated marketing are executed properly. Look for new opportunities to grow the business and improve the client experience. Work closely with the Leadership Team on business-development initiatives. You won't just be asked to complete marketing tasks. You'll be expected to think about how we can market and grow the company better. Leadership & Management You'll also directly manage two administrative team members—one focused on client support and one focused on team support. You'll help set priorities, delegate responsibilities, solve problems, communicate expectations and hold your department accountable. Our Leadership Team works hand-in-hand. We help the person next to us succeed because when one department gets better, the entire business gets better. You'll Probably Love This Position If… You're both creative and organized. You like having several projects moving at once. You enjoy coming up with ideas, but you get even more satisfaction from seeing those ideas actually implemented. When something needs to happen, your instinct is: "I'll figure it out." You're comfortable leading people, communicating with clients, managing deadlines and adjusting when priorities change. And you care about the growth of the company you work for. You want to be able to look at a campaign, project or improvement and say: "I helped make that happen." This Probably Isn't for You If… You need constant direction, dislike change, avoid communication, struggle to manage multiple priorities or wait for someone else to solve problems. This also isn't the right role if you want a narrowly defined job where you simply complete a checklist and go home. We're looking for someone who takes ownership. What You Need to Bring Marketing experience is required. You don't need to know every system or strategy we use—we can teach you our approach. But you do need experience with marketing and know how to take an idea and put it into action. Experience with the following is important: Social media and digital marketing Email and SMS marketing Marketing campaign implementation Project management Canva Excel and/or Google Sheets Zoom and general business technology Management or leadership experience is also highly valuable. More important than having the "perfect" résumé is showing us that you can lead, communicate, organize, create and execute. What You Can Expect From Us This is a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM position with a consistent schedule. When Friday evening arrives, your weekend is yours. You'll work directly with the owner and alongside a Leadership Team that values new ideas, collaboration and people who take action. And we believe that as people grow their skills and prove they're ready for more, their opportunities should grow too. Bring ideas. Learn. Take ownership. Create results. Growth is available for people who earn it.
