Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations, manage billing and payroll functions, and lead a small team of administrative staff. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving office efficiency. This is a short-term contract to permanent position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Oversee billing functions, transitioning records to electronic systems, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Collaborate with HR to process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees, reviewing time entries and ensuring compliance.
  • Supervise and support a small team of administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to address facility maintenance needs and organize necessary repairs.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient handling of accounts payable tasks.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for reception duties, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with creating and implementing office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
