Hablo Español Area Manager Janitorial Operations (Multi-Site Warehouses)

Job Summary:

The Area Manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to the client team across a designated area. It will be essential that the Area Manager supports and integrates core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities Manages the janitorial operations team for assigned area. Works closely with leadership and peers to share best practices, provide assistant on critical needs and coordinate on organization wide initiatives Ensure that staff have met all training requirements Provides support for troubleshooting services and initiate staffing for all sites in assigned area. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations Regularly conducts service calls to assigned sites, providing feedback to both customer and leadership. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school graduate or recipient of GED. Associates degree required. Two years of related experience may be substituted for degree. Minimum of 4 years experience in operational experience required. At least three (3) years of leadership experience is required. Management of multiple locations is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor. Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances. Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potential stressful and time sensitive situations. Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize. Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity. Communicate effectively both verbally and written. Bilingual Spanish, preferred. Working Conditions Majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled building during the normal business day to include the ability to work nights and weekends. Be available for overnight travel for up to a week at a time. May be required to operate a company motor vehicle and make distribution or pickup of material occasionally. With this responsibility, an MVR must be provided and accepted. Work requires a high attention to detail, the ability to cope with mental demands, prioritize and process information quickly with accuracy and clarity. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
