Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized Law Office Manager for administrative operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily office functions, managing staff, coordinating client services, and ensuring the smooth flow of legal processes. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating an efficient, welcoming environment that supports both attorneys and clients alike. Responsibilities Oversee all administrative functions of the law office, including scheduling, filing, and front desk operations Manage calendar appointments for attorneys, clients, and court dates to ensure timely proceedings Coordinate vendor relationships and manage office supplies procurement to maintain operational efficiency Handle human resources responsibilities such as onboarding new team members, payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar software, and maintaining employee records Oversee bookkeeping tasks including billing, invoicing, and expense tracking to ensure accurate financial records Organize client meetings, court filings, and event planning activities that enhance client engagement and office visibility Maintain compliance with legal regulations and office policies through diligent record keeping and filing systems Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a legal environment Strong proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software for payroll and bookkeeping tasks Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating service agreements Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring procedures, employee relations, and payroll management Familiarity with legal office procedures such as filing systems, front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and calendar management Exceptional communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in clerical tasks
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
