Office Manager / Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant Fabri is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Office Manager / Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This part-time role is the operational backbone of our office — keeping our books accurate, our administration running smoothly, and our team supported so we can focus on building a world-class digital foundry. The Company We are an early-stage investment casting startup building a fully integrated digital foundry. Our mission is to deliver precision metal castings with unparalleled speed and cost-effectiveness. By leveraging our exclusive high-throughput additive manufacturing process and AI-driven design software, we can deliver castings in days, saving our customers critical time and money. We are well capitalized and backed by top-tier investors and major customers, with millions in funding raised in the past year. We've shipped our first customer parts and have generated significant commercial excitement in both the aerospace and industrial sectors. Fabri is located in Boston Metrowest. During this startup phase and for the foreseeable future, all employees will be on-site and closely involved with building and operating the end-to-end process. The Role Reporting to the COO, the Office Manager / Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper will handle the day-to-day financial, administrative, and operational functions that keep Fabri running efficiently. This is a broad, hands-on role spanning bookkeeping, office management, and executive support — ideal for a highly organized self-starter who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment. You will be the go-to person for keeping our books clean, our office in order, and our leadership team administratively supported. As Fabri grows, so will the scope of this role. This is a part-time, in-office position of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. To comply with ITAR registration regulations, candidates for this role must be US nationals (i.e. citizens or lawful permanent residents) to be considered. Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Finance Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing payments and maintaining records in bill.com. Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payments. Support payroll processing and liaise with our payroll provider. Assist with preparation of financial reports and provide data to our accountants and leadership as needed. Help maintain compliance with tax filing deadlines and other financial obligations. Office Management Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, facilities coordination, and mail. Serve as primary point of contact for building management, utilities, and office service providers. Ensure the office environment is professional and running smoothly. Support onboarding logistics for new hires (Gusto, equipment, access, orientation coordination). Administrative Support Support preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials as needed. Manage user access across multiple platforms. Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as they arise. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, office management, or administrative roles (combined experience across functions is a plus). Proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and exercise good judgment. Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where processes are still being built. Preferred Skills Experience supporting a manufacturing, engineering, or technical startup. Familiarity with payroll processing and HR administration basics. Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts. Background in accounts payable/receivable in a small-to-mid-size company.
